Sundays are Music Days 5
Sundays are music days.
BUT by the middle of the week, my fickleness kicked in and i lost interest in the whole love theme and fell for other feel good songs. But that was the point of all this, my promiscuous musical taste.
What are these lists? Concept (and first list) is explained here.
My previous sunday lists: 2 , 3 , 4.
Same rules, no judgments, no genre, no limits, just music I tune the world out to. :)
1. This is what love should be about -- at least for me. Fun. Sweet. No hassle. Seemingly random, but there are deeper connections there that outsiders wouldn't really understand. And well, simply put,
puts a smile on your face. Here's I love you 5 by Never Shout Never
2. "She's got moves like Barracuda and she's really funny and she's hoping for love. It can be a wonderful thing."
Is this song for me?! hahaha. Majority of my song choice comes from the fact that I can relate to the lyrics.
But this song has both lyrics and beat. It's Love by Foster the People
3. I chose a live video for this next one because Adele is one of those artists that sound the same on record and live
-- which makes me love her more. Also, saves me the trouble of introducing the original artist for this song -- Steel Drivers.
Here's If it hadn't been for love by Adele
4. Okay, so I said love was the theme. BUT by midweek, I lost interest in love (yes, im fickle like that).
And I fell ABSOLUTELY in love with this next song. And the video -- omg the video!
I never really got the whole appeal of musicians before, but Adam Levine is just wayyyy too divine.... im absolutely hooked to the Voice now. Oh just give it a listen, and Im sure you'll get the song stuck in ya head!
Move Like Jagger by Maroon 5 feat. Cristina Aguilera
5. okay so this one a lil to do with love, the raw, heart-wrenching kind -- unrequited love.
The original by Kanye west is good, he may have been a douche, but Kanye really knows his music.
Anyways, that isnt the one that was stop-the-tracks amuhzing.
It's Dia Frampton's version (during her performance in the Voice) that really caught my ear.
Seriously. To anyone who has at one point felt that he/she could've given the RIGHT love to the WRONG person only to have that person throw it back at you, fight back by listening to this.
Heartless (Cover) by Dia Frampton.
Enjoy,
Joanie
