Sundays are Music Days 2

Let me share my musical promiscuity on Sundays.
Sundays will be music days.

Like before, let me share my musical lovers for the week - which was super difficult to narrow down to 5
since its heavy exam days sooooo me and my itunes have been spending a little too much time together,
but fine. If i absolutely HAD to, these would be the top listens this week.

Same rules, no judgements, no genre, no limits, just music I tune the world out to. :)

1. I accidentally pressed my friend's link to this song and bam, instantly fell in love with the first 32 seconds, later fell deeper for the hollow-y vocals. Awesome. Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People

2. I had read before that Michael Phelps' (8-time olympic gold champion in swimming right?)
pre-competition superstitious habit is that his earphones are glued to his ears the entire time.
Why? Because he listens to hip-hop to keep himself focused, pumped up and ready to conquer.
I imagine I do the same when I listen to Remember the Name by Fort Minor .

3. My itunes is always in shuffle mode, simply because I like the thrill of not knowing what the next song is.
The intro to this always makes me smile simply because its funky. Enjoy This Devil's Workday by Modest Mouse
I highly recommend their album "Good News for People Who Love Bad News".
My absolute faves from modest mouse: (listen to these BEFORE you listen to the song so that you'll fall for them first before you hear this awesome weird funky sound.) Float on and World at Large

4. This one is simply adorable, On the Brightside by NeverShoutNever.
But to tell you honestly, this song isn't exactly their best, i just absolutely adore the music video and message.
A particular one of theirs that i love to play during the recent stormy nights is Sweet Perfection..

5. Katy Perry always makes awesome songs, plus shes super hot! Her songs have the best beats and message.
Listen to the lyrics of Pearl.

6. I couldn't help myself. Since this is MY blog, I can cheat. This song played here in starbucks while im typing this up,
and I realized how much its been playing these past few days -- again the weather either makes me emo or hopeful <3 haha.
Just Haven't Met You Yet by Michael Buble.

Enjoy.
